Behind the camera

Meet Dominick

Mfire Studios was created by photographer and creative professional Dominick Taylor. His work combines professional photography, intentional lighting, detailed post-production, and modern visual technology to create images that feel polished, expressive, and built around the individual or business being photographed.

Dominick’s role extends beyond operating the camera. Depending on the project, he may help shape the concept, lighting, posing, location, visual tone, composition, editing approach, and final presentation. This gives clients a more complete creative experience instead of a one-size-fits-all photography session.

The goal is not to force every person, family, product, or business into the same formula. It is to understand what the images need to communicate and build the right approach around that purpose.

Photography and visual content

One Studio. A Wide Range of Possibilities.

Mfire Studios serves individuals, families, professionals, artists, entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations through a broad range of photography and visual-content services.

The Mfire difference

Built With Intention—From Capture to Final Image.

Commercial still life shaped with dramatic lighting and precise composition
01

Creative Direction

Sessions are shaped around the client, purpose, environment, and desired result. Lighting, posing, backgrounds, wardrobe, composition, and atmosphere are considered as parts of one complete image.

02

Professional Lighting

Studio equipment and controlled lighting are used to create dimension, flattering skin tones, visual consistency, and a more deliberate result than available light alone can always provide.

03

Detailed Post-Production

Editing is not treated as a single preset applied to every photograph. Selected images may receive targeted color work, skin-tone refinement, clothing and background cleanup, light shaping, distraction removal, and precise adjustments based on what each photograph needs.

04

Modern Image-Making

Advanced compositing, digital backgrounds, AI-enhanced elements, animation-ready images, and other emerging tools can expand what is creatively possible when they support the concept.

Technology is used with intention. It does not replace the photography, the person being photographed, or the creative decisions behind the image. It expands the tools available for bringing an idea to life.

The Mfire approach

A Process Designed Around the Final Result.

01

Understand

Define who or what is being photographed, how the images will be used, and what they need to communicate.

02

Create

Develop the lighting, location, composition, posing, wardrobe, backgrounds, and visual direction appropriate for the project.

03

Refine

Select and professionally finish the strongest images through a level of post-production matched to the chosen package or project scope.

04

Deliver

Provide polished digital files prepared for their intended purpose, with professional prints and additional creative services available separately.

Best Value

Studio Sessions

Studio sessions offer the best value, most consistent lighting, and greatest access to backgrounds and equipment. With the setup already prepared, more of the appointment can be devoted to creating photographs.

On Location

On-location photography is also available for homes, businesses, outdoor settings, events, properties, and projects that benefit from a specific environment. Portable studio installations and specialized productions can be arranged when the project requires them.

Mfire Studios primarily serves Ruidoso and Ruidoso Downs, with extended travel available for projects throughout the surrounding region. Travel, setup, permits, and specialized production may require an additional fee.

Post-production philosophy

The Work Continues After the Camera.

The time spent photographing is only one part of the finished result. Post-production can range from natural color and skin-tone refinement to detailed cleanup, complex masking, background reconstruction, cinematic color grading, compositing, and fully developed creative artwork.

Because every image and project has different needs, Mfire Studios packages account for both photography time and dedicated post-production. Simpler editing may allow for a larger finished collection, while more advanced work may produce fewer images with significantly greater refinement.

This approach allows the work to receive the attention it actually needs instead of treating every photograph as though it requires the same process.
